Royal Oaks Equestrian is a premier Hunter/Jumper lesson and show barn located on Johns Island. We offer lessons, leasing, sales, and full-service boarding in a welcoming, professional environment.
Our beautiful, newer facility features 16 stalls set on 28 acres. Riders enjoy access to multiple riding spaces, including a beginner ring, grass ring, and a fully equipped jumping ring. We also have a unique swimming pond for both horses and riders, along with scenic trails throughout the property—perfect for a relaxing hack.
At Royal Oaks, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional, customizable care. We offer all-inclusive boarding packages tailored to fit each horse’s individual needs. Horses receive top-quality hay and grain, including unlimited orchard hay, with both group and private turnout options available. Blanketing is included, and our trusted in-house farrier services the barn at least twice per week.
Our lesson program is designed for riders of all ages and experience levels. Students are required to lesson twice per week, allowing them to build a strong foundation and consistently ride quality horses with top-level instruction—without the need to lease or show unless they choose to.
For those interested in competing, we attend schooling shows, local shows, and C and A rated competitions. Leasing is not required to show, though a lease fee applies for use of show horses. We offer both full and half leases for riders looking to develop a consistent partnership, with horses and ponies suited for all levels—from walk/trot through 3’3 juniors and 1.20m jumpers. We also always have horses and ponies available for sale.
Our trainers are truly exceptional, bringing extensive experience both in and out of the show ring. They are passionate about teaching riders at every level and committed to developing strong fundamentals in a supportive, positive environment.
